How to find your way around.
Two minutes of reading that will save you a dozen small confusions later. Everything below applies whether you are browsing or enrolled.

Signing in takes one email and no password.

Enter the email you applied with
Go to Sign in and type your address. Nothing else — there is no password field, because there is no password.

Check your inbox for a link
We send a single-use sign-in link. Click it and you are in. The first one sometimes lands in spam, so look there before assuming it failed.

Use the same address every time
Your marks, submissions and attendance are tied to the address you applied with. Signing in with a different one will tell you that you are not enrolled.

You stay signed in for days
No need to repeat this each session. If you sign out you simply request another link.

Download the brief and template as one PDF, do the work, then drag your file back into the same page. Replace it any time before the deadline.

My progress
Your attendance, your marks out of ten, and your quiz scores. Only you and the staff can see this page.
There is a fifth, Logbook, for papers you read and sources you find. It is optional — but Assignment 3 asks you to log untraced claims, and students who kept a logbook from week one found it easy.

Assignment 2 reviews someone else's work
You will be paired with another student and asked to critique their Assignment 1. That is deliberate, and it is announced on the assignment page when the pairing is set.
Quizzes open and close on their own
Each one appears when it opens and closes on its date. One attempt, ten questions, marked immediately, with every answer shown afterwards.
A blank mark is not a zero
On My progress, an empty mark means not yet marked. Not submitted says so explicitly.
The capstone runs past October
Taught sessions end on 31 October. Assignment 6 continues as supervised project work into November, finishing with a presentation.
